Nov. 30th, 2010 07:46 pmI had posted a query for the LJ hive mind and got only are reply from one friend. Today she commented that she was disappointed that there were no new answers, and should she do a signal boost? I thought that was a good idea, noticed that I'd orginal posted it as friend's locked, and went back and edited it to be not friend's locked. While I was at it I also edited the date/time so that it would show up as now, rather than when orginally posted. However, when I did that it caused it to vanish from friends-lists. I can see it in my list of recent journal entries, but not in the list posts on my friends page, nor can
clovis_t see it on his friend's list, therefore it is probably invisible to the rest of you, too. Darn it.
Therefore, if you happen to have any interest in period literature, please go directly to the original post and comment there if you have any useful suggestions for me. And if you ever want to change the date on something to make it show up now, just re-post, editing the date doesn't work the way I'd want it to...

Nov. 24th, 2010 01:16 pmI have no idea if it would interest any of you or not, but I just saw a notice of a charity fund raising auction that includes such items as "A Professional Critique of Your Manuscript". Just thought I'd spread the word on the off chance that someone I know would care about such things.
