He tells me his son really likes Medieval stuff and swords, etc. I have suggested that they contact the local SCA, but if I could put him in touch with a specific individual who knows when and where the local events, practices, and meetings are it would probably help.

One of my friends in An Tir, aelfgyfu, is holding a fundraiser to help cover some unexpected medical bills. She makes cute little eye-ball inspired balls full of catnip, and is offering them for sale in her journal. I don't have a cat and am not inclined to find out if Italian customs would even let such a thing across the border, but I wanted to help out, so I thought I'd spread the word to the many folk I know whom she doesn't...

Can any of you tell me what the cost of digeridoos is? Is there a source of affordable used ones? What is the cost of shipping of such a thing to the US like?

I've got a friend in Atenveldt, dorinda2212, who has heard that playing a digeridoo will help strengthen one's throat muscles, and, over time, greatly reduces the unpleasant symptoms of asthma. She would like to try this "cure". Please either let me know here, or reply to her post with any helpful suggestions on where/how she can obtain a dideridoo without breaking the bank.

One of my AnTirian friends, laurelyn22, who has spent the past few years in Indiana, wants to move closer to home, and her partner has finally started a hunt for new employment with that goal in mind.
