Or even anyone who knows folk in that area. I have a cousin who just moved there from the middle of nowhere in Alaska. He tells me his son really likes Medieval stuff and swords, etc. I have suggested that they contact the local SCA, but if I could put him in touch with a specific individual who knows when and where the local events, practices, and meetings are it would probably help.

Coldwater ... that's near the Indiana border isn't it? If Michigan is a hand, Coldwater is the pulse. I've been through there, on my way to Ft. Wayne, but I don't actually know anyone there. However, I do know folks in the Detroit area. I could ask them if they have friends in Coldwater, if you like.

I live in Coldwater..

and love medieval stuff and swords <3

Unfortunately, around here there aren't any stores with this sort of thing :'(

The closest place is downtown where they sell some crystals...

I Find swords once in awhile at goodwill and pawn shops, but that's about it.

lol! We aren't actually looking for stores that sell stuff like that, but people who like to do medieval recreation, like the SCA. I have been part of that organization for decades, and most of my LJ friends are, too, so I was hoping one of them knew someone in that town who also participates.
