no dentist appoitment today, either.

 When I saw the dentist for the initial check-up Monday of last week, they figured that it would take at least three visits to accomplish everything that ought to be done, and, with my job starting only two weeks from then, they booked me in to the two remaining options for visits under those two weeks, plus one a couple of weeks later. Then the dentist got sick, and was forced to cancel last week's appointment. Today I was supposed to see her at 11:00, but I just got the call that she's sick today, too. Apparently the dentist had recovered enough to manage to work a couple of days, but the whole family is sick, and so even the dentist relapsed as of this morning. Poor thing.

However, we are meeting Þórólfr this evening for board games, so perhaps, in terms of this evening's enjoyment, it will be good not to have been at the dentist today.

Now I need to decide what to do with the bonus time--certainly there is plenty that needs doing for my thesis corrections, the house, and my projects, to say nothing of books that could be read, and naps that could be taken...
