One small step towards divorcing that country done

 Today David sent me a photo of an envelope from the Alaska Elections people, and wondered why I haven't changed my address with them. So I looked at their web page and found a "cancle your voter registration " button faster than I found a way to update my address, so I cancled it. Can't do the next step without a job, and even after I get one it will take time before I feel I can spare so much money, but it never felt any use to be registered in Alaska, anyway, given that the presidential election results are uaually announced before the polls in Alaska even close, and Alaska has never made a difference to the results.

Yah, I vote in my local elections, and in the Swedish national, and will not only vote in the upcoming EU election, I am even working the polls. But it isn't really right for someone who hasn't lived in Alaska since May of 2000 to be helping them decide local issues.
