too busy to say anything interesting

kareinabut if I post something then mom will know I am still alive...
I spent the day in the lab (well, only 9 hours and 44 minutes of it), then came home and started altering the trousers I had been wearing. They were brought because they are in good shape. It turns out that the reason they are in such good shape is that I don't wear them because they tend to feel like they are trying to cut me in half. So I cut triangles off of both cuffs, and have started sewing them in to the crotch as a gore. Managed to get the first pass of sewing around the gore done, and 3/4 of finishing that seam before I was tired of sewing, so it will have to wait till tomorrow to finish.
Tomorrow the SEM is booked, so I have to wait till Wednesday to go back and look at the rest of the samples. I hope that the XRD is at least available so I can do that instead.
