what percentage of your fortune would you pay to go to space?

So, apparently the going rate for a tourist trip to the space station is 35 million dollars. Presumably, he's got more than that available, or he wouldn't be spending that kind of money. This made me wonder, what would you pay? What percentage of your personal fortune would you part with for a chance to go to the space station? Had I but a fortune, I would pay all or most of it to go into space. Getting off the planet has been a dream of mine since I was a little girl. (my Dad was a rocket scientist, and I've been reading science fiction since I was too old for horse stories)

I would love to go into outer space.

However, I have realized that I have a phobia of enclosed spaces, add to this my problem of getting motion sick for the slightest of reasons (nope, no roller coasters for me), and I have to face the fact that I am limited to enjoying space vicariously through others.

Thus, I will pay $10 here and $30 there to read or watch articles on space, and then I will dream. :-)

Zero. You'd think that an Astrophysicist would want to go into space but we did lots of vacuum physics experiments when I was an undergrad and, as a result, there is absolutely no way I want to be in a vacuum in a vehicle unless it comes with sufficient gravity to sustain it's own atmosphere. I'm happy to just look at the images from the telescopes I use, some of which are in space.
