On the way to Prague

This week's twenty hours for work are falling on the weekend, when I am flying to Prague to attend a workshop on using the program iolite for data reduction. In other words, how to convert the counts per second reported by the ICP-MS into useful numbers, like weight percent or parts per million.
This course is crucial for me at this stage of the learning curve. I am now fairly comfortable driving the laser and the ICP-MS, but until I can take the data generated and convert it to a form usable for the researchers we can't open our doors for research projects.
Another good thing about the trip is that
clovis_t lives in Prague these days, and it will be good to catch up with him (I will be staying at his place).
However, as I sit here in the airport waiting for the flight all of those reasons to travel compared to my fear of the weather report. Temps there have been ranging from 27 to 35 C, or more than twice as hot as here in LuleƄ just now. Can we reschedule this workshop? No? Ok then, I shall try not to whinge too much...
