Driving north towards a midnight sunset

The sky in front of the car is all aglow with shades of red and pink.. it is now twenty minutes before midnight, and soon, a about three minutes after the hour, the sun will have set for the "night"--it will start rising again at 01:02.

I love living far enough north that this happens for a bit every summer. But then, I really love the part at mid winter where the sun only peaks above the southern horizon for a couple of hours at mid day...
