And yoga in a church

kareinaTonight's folk music concert is being held in a church. Not just any church, but a big, imposing white building with columns and a central dome of the sort that says "government building".
I am sitting with the muscians in the left hand wing, and seven folk music groups who are performing tonight (two songs each) fill only the first six pews and half of the next couple. Since the show didn't start till 21:00, and we will be doing the two hour drive home afterwards, I did the logicical thing and went to the back of the row and did my yoga during the first half of the show.
No doubt someone doing that when the church was new would have scandalized the congregation, even if had been just a concert and not a normal church service. Then again, when the church was new a woman would likely have worn hoop skirts, corset, puffed sleeves, and bustle, all of which would have really complicated trying to do yoga.
But no one said anything to me, and I suspect that most of the muscians, who had their backs to me, didn't even notice. Though the people in the opposite wing, who face me, probably did, if they weren't focused on the performance takeing place to their right.
