True spring

While I have been complaining all winter about the spring weather we had been having, with temperatures above zero, others have been denying that it counted as spring. However, now that equinox has been and gone, and we have huge amounts of sunlight to go with the above freezing temps we are getting unmistakable signs of true spring: I saw three geese in a field yesterday, and two swans swimming in a bit of clear water (surrounded by ice) today.
