pretty much ready for the War
May. 6th, 2012 12:19 amAll of our free time recently has been dedicated to getting ready for Double Wars--we now have a new sunshade completely finished, our pavilion has been repaired and improved, and today was a day for packing (and creating bags to pack things in, and repairing old wooden boxes to pack things in). Pretty much everything is packed and organized and ready to go. Monday I fly to Cyprus, Friday
lord_kjar will load the stuff into his brother's bus and they will drive south. The following Monday I return from Cyprus and have a couple of hours to head home, swap luggage and head to the train station for my trip south to the event.
It was supposed to be more than four hours between the flight and the train, but the train company sent me an email this week letting me know that the train schedule has been changed to accommodate track work--we now leave about two hours earlier than the old schedule, but arrive at the same time.
Now it is late, and I still need to do my yoga, so rather than share any of the thoughts I have thought recently that I wanted to share next time I made time to post, I will just go do that, get some sleep, and enjoy tomorrow--my last day at home for a couple of weeks.
