Shifting boxes of rocks builds muscles
Apr. 24th, 2012 07:23 amI have been very good about remembering to do my situps etc. every morning before getting out of bed. This helps me wake up and helps keep my back from hurting. However, I can't really do push ups very well in bed, and I haven't remembered for months now to do them once I got up. This weekend, for the first time in ages, I remembered my push ups, and decided to give them a try, expecting to manage no more than ten. Much to my delight I managed thirty! The last time I did these regularly I managed to build myself up to 25 at a time, but it took some days of practice. This time I was able to start with 30, and I am feeling pretty smug about it. I guess that shifting around all those boxes of rocks last week while collecting samples helps. So far I have remembered my push ups three days in a row, and can still do 30 at a time. I will be interesting to see if I can increase that number, and how high...
