I have a new skirt!

Thanks to the the most wonderful madryn_1960 and her kindness in doing the sewing for me, I have a new skirt! Made to the pattern I posted recently, it is wonderful and full, and swirls beautifully when I spin. The fabric is something sturdy (cotton? cotton-linen blend?) that I purchased some time back as a remnant at a very, very affordable price. With luck I'll do enough uni work during the day tomorrow to justify heading out to the Folk Federation Gypsy Dance with Xenos in the evening, as it would be a good excuse to wear the new skirt!

This evening I managed to finish up reading over and editing chapter three in preparation to hand it to my advisor next week. I should do the same with the other chapters, but am unusually sleepy, considering it is only 20:00, so instead I'm going to turn off my computer, go for a short walk with <lj user="clovis_t", do our yoga and get to sleep early!

Someone there needs to take photos of you dancing in your new shirt. I can clearly find your dancing smile in my mind's eye but a new visual reminder would be most welcome.
