I am not certain I agree that warm weather is a requirement, given the fact that we are talking a time when more fur than fiber is available for clothing, and furs are warm! But then I have always been of the school of thought that cold weather is far easier to deal with than hot--one can do something about the cold & add more layers, heat is miserable no matter how many layers one takes off...
