Why, when one's cycle is meant to follow the moon, which is 28 days from full to full, is my average only 22 days from starting one "month" to starting again the following "month"? I've only exceeded 24 days five times in the past three years!

I'm obviously from a system with two moons. One moon completes its phases every 28 days, the other every 30. Alternates like clockwork.

lol How regular is regular? That "average" was calculated using an Excel spreadsheet, and ranges from a low of 20 days to a high of 27 days--the graph looks like a saw blade with teeth of random width and length!

But that is after years of being off of hormonal birth control. I'd used the norplant implant for five years, and when it wore off tried the depo-provera shots (I do not recommend that--fabulous birth control--totally destroyed anything even vaguely resembling a sex drive!), and after getting my tubes tied and going off of that, it was a year before any cycle at all started back up again.

I believe this to be a direct result of smart kids being put in "accelerated" programs at school. You would probably drive too fast if you drove.

I am all about crackpot theories. That's why you love me.
