fresh baked rolls for breakfast

I have been enjoying mixing up a batch of bread dough and then putting it into the fridge to keep. Each day I break off a single serving size of it to bake something for the day. Some days it is mini pizza, others I fill a pocked with yummy stuff, others it is just a plain bread. This morning I remembered that I own a camera.
This morning I grabbed four small hand fulls of dough, rolled them into balls and then long lengths.

Tied them into knots.

And put them on a tray and into the toaster oven.

In the time it took to toss together a salad for lunch, the rolls were baked.

Yum! Not that I actually ate my two rolls for breakfast--my breakfast of museli (the blend I've been mixing since arriving here is: oats, rye, puffed millet, raisins, dried cranberries, dried pineapple, dried paypaya, almonds, sunflower seeds, flax seeds) is too important for me to give up. However,
clovis_t likes bread or toast for breakfast, and it wasn't much more effort to make four rolls instead of two, so I did. I put the salad, some fruit, and cheese into my insulated lunch box with some ice, and the rolls into a paper bag. They were still warm when I arrived at Uni, where I enjoyed them as a second breakfast while reading my morning mail. I'll eat the rest of the food for lunch a bit later...
Tomorrow we are heading to the far side of the city for a BBQ with SCA folk. This will be my first in-person meeting of any of the folk in this shire, and I'm looking forward to it.
