another day, another 900 words

Spent most of the day doing more calculations (never mind that I was meant to have finished the calculation stage months ago--sometimes you find more that *must* be done if you are going to say anything worthwhile for the sample you are writing up!). Wound up having to re-do one set of calculations when the graphs that result from it looked *wrong*, which alerted me to the fact that I'd entered in the incorrect data. Sigh--that wasted a good hour+ of my time. But it has been done correctly this time (I checked). Once I'd done that I wrote-up the results for the thesis, which took 913 words, and references to four different figures/tables generated as a result of the calculations. All this in only 5 1/2 hours of actual working time, and it isn't yet 6pm, so there is every chance I'll come back to it after I bit of a break...

Good that the *wrong* juumped out at you so you were able to right it.

What will you ever do when you are finished? Start something new? Do some traveling? Tell us the stories of whatever it is, please.
