full, fun day

Today I managed to make further progress expanding information on the classical geothermobarometry portion of my thesis--another 479 words written and nine new figures and tables. I also attended the geology departmental seminar (where I managed to make further progress on the conversion of that knit wool dress into a cardigan--one of the pockets is now attached exactly where I want it to be. Now I need only take off the first pocket and move it up to the same height as today's and it will be done!), did grocery shopping, made further progress on the statement of teaching philosophy, arranged for some letters of recommendation to be written, sent letters of inquiry asking about potential post-doc positions in my field, and in geo-archaeology, posted to my other blog on that topic, and attended an amazingly fun Dance Practice. Thank you madryn_1960 for arranging such a wonderful site for it!
