kahnegabs posted these questions, and since I have found that it can be quite difficult recognizing people I know when they've chosen names other than their SCA names, I thought I'd play along. If you are willing to share, please let me know your answers!

1. My username is ______ because ______.

2. My SCA name is _____ because ______.

4. My friends page is called ____ because ____.

5. My default userpic is ____ because ____.

My answers:

1) my user name is Kareina, because that is my SCA name.

2) my SCA name is Kareina because I was only 16 when I picked it, and I wanted a SCA name that was *unique*, and contained some of my favourite letters (like "k" and "r" and "n"). (The college of heralds passed it as "Made up Russian", I don't know that one can do that these days.)

3) My journal doesn't have a title that I am aware of. While I had noticed that some people's journals do, at no time have I thought that mine should.

4) I am guessing from the way the question is phrased that it is possible to change the default of "friends page", but it never would have occurred to me to try.

5) My default userpic is the single-strand silk split-stitch embroidery of my coat of arms that I did for the Lochac Worshipful Company of Broiders Guild Banner because, having turned it in, I am unlikely to ever see it again, and so I put a photo of it somewhere I would see it now and again. Besides, one's coat of arms is a representation of one's self.
