place in the OP

 Oh, my... I am used to thinking that being a viscountess isn't a big deal, since I have had the title for most of my time in the SCA (having found the SCA in 1982, and having been a viscountess since 1986), and so many of my friends are higher on OP than me. But...

 

Today a friend said what number he has in West OP. He is about 2500 on the list. This made me curious, and I checked: in the West Kingdom Order of Precedence I am number 255 of 7,248 people who have received awards in that Kingdom. Which puts me in the in the top 3.5%

 

Drachenwald doesn't have numbers next to names on our list, but it was easy to take it into Excel and get numbers. This reveals that in Drachenwald, I'm number 104 out of 3,237 people who have received Drachenwald awards over the years, which puts me in in the top 3.2%, which is pretty similar to my place in West OP.

Of course, those numbers would change if one considered only the people currently active and living in each Kingdom (especially the West, as that would take me right of the list!)

Also, these numbers don't really actually affect anything save for where I stand when in line to enter Drachenwald Crown tournament, that being the only thing I have seen here that is done in Order of Precedence.  but it was surprising to see.
