Worth staying up for

I was tired enough after choir tonight to have been able to have done my yoga and gone straight to bed. Instead I helped lord_kjar hang the door on the new shed that he had finished last night while I was at Finnish class.

Then, after we carried in the tools etc. I went upstairs to do yoga while he went back out to turn off the car (headlights had been helpful whilst we worked). Just before I started yoga he called me to say that the Northern Lights were out. So I put back on my winter coat, boots and snow pants and went out to join him.

It started out as just a little display, mostly low on the horizon in the north and the west. But then it decided to show off a bit and there was a huge dancing display straight overhead. It was necessary to lay down on the ground to properly appreciate it.

Now it is after 23:00, so I really willdo my yoga and go to bed. I hope your day brought you as much beauty as mine did.
