Did a bit of work today, but so not enough. This evening I got out the nice wool winter coat in progress, intending to make the pockets. Then I decided I didn't like the fit across the shoulders and upper body, and took apart the seams, and made some adjustments, pinned it together in what I thought would work, and discovered that the changes make it too small. At that point several hours of messing with it had elapsed, so I gave up and put it back down again. This means that I don't have it available as a sewing project to take with me to the Christmas Eve party at the home of some of the folk from the geology department. Sigh. Probably should have worked on the thesis, but I *liked* the idea of having a sewing project in a state ready to take to the party, and it would be nice to get the coat finished before summer ends and I need it...
Other things actually accomplished today:
Scrubbed the shower
went for a walk
two loads of laundry clean and put away
no where near enough thesis work. Some new graphs, but no new words written yet.
Time to go make the roll dough for tomorrow so I can take a yummy baked Holiday wreath with me to the party tomorrow. With luck I'll do some uni work in the morning.
