summer progress isn't as fast as winter progress

I am please to report that I seem to have gotten past the difficulties in welding shut little gold capsules. Did two this week for my next experiment, and got them both sealed properly on the first try. I've also made a tiny bit of progress in dealing with the data from last week's microprobe session. No where near enough of an accomplishment for the week, but it is hot, I've got a houseguest, and there it is.

Tomorrow I fly to Germany for the weekend for an SCA dance event. Yay! I'm not bringing my computer, so I won't be on line till Sunday night or Monday morning. Hope everyone has a great weekend, and that it isn't as hot in Germany as it is here...
