Today I managed to fill two tiny gold capsules with powder for the experiment I will run when I return from Zürich, used the lathe and drill to prepare the MgO nest for said capsules, cooked up some food to take with me, purchased some oranges to take with me at a local market, printed maps so I can find the hotel and class room when I reach Zürich tomorrow, packed my suitcase, and looked into the cost of rental cars and sent a report to
aelfgyfu to see if she'd rather fly or drive to SCA events in Germany with me when she visits this summer.
That doesn't sound like much, but it took all day (the uni stuff took just over 3.5 hours). I still need to read my 1000 words of geologic literature and do my yoga. It is only 20:50, and our train doesn't depart till 11:00, which means there is time yet today to play a game or read a book or go for a walk. Therefore I think I'll post this, do that reading, and shut down (and pack up) the computer for the day.
PS, I'm really looking forward to summer visiting season--not only is
aelfgyfu thinking of coming over, my mother,
darttn is also considering a visit. Anyone else want to come to Milan? I'm here till December, and love to host visitors...
