This morning clovis_t flew off to Germany and a few hours later my five couch-surfing houseguests from Poland arrived.

I've made contact with a lady from the 12th century garb list who lives in Milan! We should meet in person on Wednesday if all goes well. She's not done SCA before, but has very much enjoyed the free information SCA folk share on line.

On Friday I fly out to Scotland for the Geology conference.

I've finished the latest batch of edits for a paper and sent them off to the primary author

I still need to either find a local place to print my poster for the geology conference, or tell the print shop in Edinburgh that I'll pay their 70 pounds to have it printed there and pick it up when I arrive.

Which print shop did you contact? Prices vary for normal photocopying so they probably do for posters, too...

I e-mailed the one recommended to me by the conference coordinator: http://www.kallkwik.co.uk/edinburgh/ If you happen to have time and care to find a better option (and "better" can include easier for us to get to on the way to your place from the airport on Friday), let me know, and I'll e-mail them instead...

If you are too busy, no worries, just let me know and I'll either go find one here, or e-mail that one to say "print it".
