Yesterday I managed to finish crunching the numbers for another sample, and get much of the way through another before it was time for yoga and bed. In the process the edits to the thesis cut a total of 41 words. Today I finished up that second sample, and added the results, with a bit more in the way of editing. This resulted in a net gain of two words over yesterday. I find it amusing when this happens. And, frankly, I don't care if the thesis is getting longer or shorter, so long as it is is getting better and more complete. Which it is, but only slowly. But now it is time to shut down and head to the wedding of a friend. With luck I'll have enough energy left over this evening to get started on the next sample, since I had initially hoped to be done with them all by now--expecting they'd take an hour each, not a day each.
