I may have finished chapter five

kareinaI'll read it over in the morning, to see if I've forgotten to cover anything I should have, and if there are any obvious edits I need to make before sending it off to my advisor, but I think that's the chapter on the timing of metamorphism done. Next up, flesh out chapter three--the southwest coast samples. Might take a week, could take months. Stay tuned...
In other news, made it to SCA social night for the first time in ages tonight and very much enjoyed myself. Borrowed some yellow embroidery floss from our hostess (yellow, being a colour I dislike, I don't happen to have any of my own), and stitched some laurel wreaths onto![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
baronsnorri's red wool tunic (at his request, and his choice of colour). Then I mended clovis_t's undertunic before it was time to head home. It was very nice to spend an evening visiting with people.
Next weekend is Lochac 12th night, and I'll be going for the whole weekend (so I hope chapter three is done in only a week, so I can go with a clear conscious). Are any of my LJ friends from the mainland coming down for it? I'm particularly interested in meeting those of you whom I only know on-line, though, of course, I want to the see the ones I know already too!
