The default norm for indoor events, at least in the northern part of Nordmark, is crash space on site, or, sometimes, the site even has some beds available, but others bring their own bedding. We once looked at a site that would have otherwise been perfect, but it wasn't permitted to sleep there, so we didn't use it.
In contrast, Drachenwald Kingdom University is always at a site with beds, usually a nice one, like an old castle or at least noble's manorhouse from the 1800's, and so tends to be quite expensive.
I have never been to a Drachenwald event where we couldn't sleep on site.
