I haven't seen it yet, but given that they've invented a female fighting elf character out of whole cloth, I think you'll twitch. I'm disappointed that Jackson has lost his former respect for the material to this extent, and is finding it necessary to expand to a trilogy a story that would really have fit just fine in one or two movies.
