I was lucky, it was feeling a fair bit better, but not 100% by the time we left for practice on Sunday morning, so I left the armour at home, but took sword and board. This turned out to be perfect--we had a brand new guy interested in fighting, so I got to be the moving pel as the knight gave him the introduction to moving a sword course, having us take turns with throwing the basic shots. By the end of the session the sword-side shoulder didn't hurt at all any more, but the shield side, which hadn't had issues before, did let me know that my shield is heavier than things I normally move around...
