Pavilion repairs coming along nicely
May. 3rd, 2012 12:43 amI have mentioned before that a pavilion designed to minimize the suffering in California heat by creating maximum air flow is not exactly ideal for camping in Sweden.
lord_kjar has been wishing that it were possible to close the doors on my pavilion to keep the heat in and the wind out. Now, thanks to much effort on his part, it is, for one of them. He has sewed an extra flap into one of the doors, and another is ready to attach tomorrow. I helped by being the second pair of hands to keep the fabric where it needed to be while he fought with the machine. This was much easier than sewing the pavilion in the first place (I had no help for that-never again, now that I have seen how much easier it is with two!)
May first is a holiday here, so we did yet another trip to his brother's to help them with costumes for Double Wars. Fun, but hectic, especially with the two hour drive on bith ends of the day.
I have till Monday to finish everything before I fly to Cyprus...
