going off line for a long weekend

I've caught up on work stuff. I've printed maps to get where I'm going. Now I need to go pack for the trip to Drachenwald Coronation and try to get to sleep early tonight. In the morning I pick up the rental car at 07:30, load it, and drive to Malpensa airport (about a hour from here) to pick up aelfgyfu. From there we will head north for some Alpine adventures on our way to Germany, arriving at the north end of Germany sometime on Friday for the event. We then have till 07:30 on Tuesday morning to get back to Milan, unload the car and return it to the rental agency. That sounds like plenty of time for adventures on the return trip, too.

I won't be bringing my computer with me (though, given I've still got some jobs to apply for, perhaps I should), so I don't expect to be on line again before early next week. So mom, don't worry when I'm not posting anything...

This will be my first SCA event since 12th Night in January. I don't think I've *ever* gone so long between events since I discovered the SCA back in highschool. I didn't mean to take time off, but it is so easy to do when one has to fly or rent a car to get to events and one is doing at least three days worth of international travel for work each month...
