hah, progress anyway
Dec. 1st, 2009 05:33 pmWhile I'm still facing issues with my data processing (an e-mail has been sent to my colleague who is on maternity leave asking for information as to the standards used to normalize the old data set, she promises a reply soon), I still managed to make some substantial progress on my poster for the AGU conference I'll be attending soon. There is still plenty of room to add in the graphs that will be generated once my data is ready to run through mathmatica, so there is hope that I'll have a decent poster before I fly out to California on the 11th.
This evening I need to pack stuff for the Stockholm trip, because our flight leaves at 06:45 tomorrow, and it will take a couple of hours to get there (30 minute walk to the train station, plus 1 hour on the bus + fudge factor). I'm looking forward to the trip, and hope that I manage to make progress on the poster while there. I'll be bringing along a silk-lined wool coat in progress (started Oct 07) that I hope to finish (I might need it there!).
(PS: Mom, that first paragraph represents an eight-hour day, I really do work, even if I try to report the more interesting activities I undertake.)
