wow, what a dance practice!

In other news, I got chapter three sent off to my advisor today before dance practice: 6,118 words including references and the list of 30 figure captions. There is also a rather large supplementary appendix for the information about the samples which didn't yield pressure/temperature estimates, what techniques I tried and the manner in which they didn't work, on the off chance that the information ever becomes important.
Tomorrow I need to finish processing the microprobe results from last week's session and modify chapter four accordingly. With luck that will be fast enough I can go from there to finishing dealing with the other microprobe session (monazite dating that time) for chapter five. I am getting closer to being able to start that discussion and conclusion chapter, even if it does feel like I've been chasing a mirage--every time I think I've only a few more tasks before I can begin that chapter I do some of them, and discover that there are more yet to do than I'd thought...
