revamp in progress
Oct. 4th, 2008 10:33 pmThe suggestions my advisor made for chapter two include doing some extra work for each sample for which I have "classical geothermobarometry" results, running the calculations for more than one set of minerals per sample, if at all possible, and then writing up the comparison of the results. This evening I did that for the first two samples, and did figures showing which spots on which minerals were used in the calculations and how the different compositions changed the calculated temperature and pressure. This gave me 678 new words and 6 new figures and tables for the thesis over the course of six hours of work. There are nine more samples needing this treatment, I sure hope I can get through them faster!
