going through motions

Today I was typing up results for a sample which didn't have very good results. I found an area where I really needed to do the calculations over, with a slightly different range, because the best answer the last time was right on the very edge of the graph, implying that an even better answer would fall in the area to the left of the graph, so I did it, and it did. But, alas, all this really confirms is that the results aren't very good. So, while I've managed to write another 552 words and create 3 new figures, I'm not terribly pleased with my progress today. At least this sample is now done. With luck that means that tomorrow's progress will actually feel like progress.

Did get in a nice walk at mid-day with baronsnorri, we did a loop that included a trail we'd not previously explored, which cuts behind some of the houses over in Fern Tree proper. Made for a nice loop, and it was good to get out of the house for a bit. Now it is late, so I need to go for one last walk and do yoga with clovis_t and get some sleep.
