The Swiss have difficulty articulating the sound "th" as in thug". If Hans mentioned thugs (usually in reference to politicians) it comes out "fug".
The other day, he asked me about your thesis. But it came out fesis -as in "How is Kareina's faeces going?" I responded that given your excellent diet, probably very satisfactory.
