Vienna is too much fun to make time to type up posts

I've been having too much fun in Vienna to make time to post. I'm now on lunch break between lectures at the confrence, and my internet connection is unreliable, so I'm not going to post now, either. I'll try to remember all of my adventures and type them up later.

In other news thealater has finished her PhD dissertation, Honored Values and Valued Objects: The Society for Creative Anachronism (this message brought to you because our friend's list only partially overlaps, and some of the rest of you may find the topic interesting.)

Thank you for the link to thealater's dissertation. The topic is one that I am actually fascinated by, and I look forward to reading it. One of my favorite concepts is "the patient faithfulness of inanimate objects" (just not this morning, as there is much that I need to accomplish today)
