Thanks for your post, Riia. It is not too much information, and I admire your resolve to freely say what you want to say. I think menstrual cups are fantastic, and I am trying to spread the word. No waste! No cost! Much less maintenance (mine requires cleaning 2x per day)! I tried mine for the first time last year, when embarking upon the Appalachian Trail. They are wonderful for field work/activities. They aren't flawless, but nor are any other methods. But they are comfortable, clean, and I feel so good about the zero waste aspect of them. I wish these had been available for my entire reproductive life, and I hope they catch on with young people. They are probably very good for teaching young women to abandon the squeamishness of menstruation, as well. Benefits all around!
