Oddly enough, I hadn't been doing any handwork at all the week or so before I managed to shatter the glass, but the same day that started with dropping the jar and needing to sweep up glass was followed with 8 hours worth of sewing projects, divided between using a treadle machine, cutting fabric, and hand sewing.
