Thanks for sharing this, perhaps it isn't just the hearing that is at fault, but I will persist in blaming the baggage which has come with it for the intensity of my reaction on the day. I remember complaining when I was young that if I took off my glasses I couldn't hear a thing. Fortunately, I haven't needed classes in many years.
