It seems a little odd that your stuff is being shipped to the UK, and from there to Milan, given that the path it would take would be through the Suez Canal, through the Meditterannean, past Italy, and then onto Britain. I suppose they use the hub and spoke system, and simply get more stuff going from Australia to Britain than Australia to Italy.
