I heard a very interesting, but very preliminary, presentation last March in Leiden (a year ago +) about the beads found in the excavations there. I'd be interested to hear if Dr. Niko Arts or any of his colleagues has had a chance to work on these further. (If you meet him, he might remember me -- I was the only American at the prayer beads seminar, and when he mentioned that the location excavated had been bombed flat by the Americans in WW2, everyone in the room looked at me! I shrugged my shoulders and gave a "What could I do?" gesture and everyone laughed.)
